Dr. Ohson’s story of discovering this island starts like many others. He came to rural Newfoundland after hearing about its unique culture, charm and people. He settled on Fogo Island to practise as a Family Physician, and then ventured to the big city of St. John’s to complete Internal Medicine at Memorial University. Lastly, he completed his dermatology residency in Ottawa with the prime objective of returning to Newfoundland, his home.
The creation of KarmaDerm Cosmetic Dermatology was a natural progression in Dr. Ohson’s career, as his patients frequently enquired about laser and cosmetic treatments, as well as other skin care procedures. KarmaDerm Cosmetic Dermatology was founded to provide a personal and affordable approach to address individuals’ unique skin care needs.
